Packet Surfer
AI-assisted PCAP triage for network and cloud engineers.
Upload a packet capture, inspect flows, generate Mermaid diagrams, and export a clean report — using your own model key.

or click to browse — .pcap files accepted · max 100 MB
Packet Surfer is designed with a privacy-first architecture. Capture files are parsed entirely within your browser and are never transmitted to Packet Surfer servers. No raw packet data leaves your machine by default.
When AI analysis is requested, only a structured metadata summary — not the raw capture — is forwarded to the model provider you select. Packet payload bytes are excluded from that summary by default. Optional controls allow you to mask IP addresses and domain names before submission.
Model API keys are held in browser session memory for the duration of the request and discarded immediately after. Keys are not written to local storage, session storage, or cookies, and are not included in any exported report or log.
Packet captures may contain authentication credentials, personally identifiable information, or confidential network traffic. You are responsible for reviewing the redaction settings and ensuring compliance with your organization's data handling policies before submitting any capture summary to an external model provider.
